Review on Aprilaire 600 Whole Home Humidifier: Automatic High Output Furnace Humidifier for Homes up to 4,000 Sq. Ft. by Kim Jones

Bought on Amazon after a long research. I felt like I was buying from a very reputable company that has been doing this for a long time. The humidifier was installed by a licensed HVAC technician. A month later he had to go back because the machine wasn't working. It turned out that the Aprilaire control unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. In order to have it up and running that same day, he bought it from his dealer and installed it. I contacted Aprilaire to file a warranty claim and get a refund for the $80 that the new controller cost me (not to mention the contractor's return shipping costs). Aprilaire didn't refund me because the contractor didn't call them to fix it (he came over the weekend. Aprilaire doesn't work weekends). I was told that he should have sent them the unit to test before replacing it. The device was a month old. Very disappointed with customer service and lack of support for their product.
