I wouldn't call this a teething toy, the silicone pouches are a bit soft and thin for that, but certainly makes a good feeding bowl if supervised. a variety of sizes is good I think, but a little bit isn't necessary. Overall quality is good, it works just like our other Haaka pet bowl and is easy enough to clean considering how it's assembled anyway. It is easy for a child to hold in their hands. but sometimes it's a bit difficult to manipulate his mouth because he's holding on to the circle rather than the wand (so bring it to your mouth at a different angle each time). Maybe it teaches hand-eye coordination better, but I don't think it's necessary when trying to feed your baby.
