As a San Diego resident, I became an expert on sandals and flip flops. My five children wear them all year round. Nothing compares to the durability of these crocodiles. We tried the "chic" Crocs flip flops with fabric between the toes. They broke after a few months. But we've had many pairs of this version and they never fail. I've had couples who survived 2 children and still have "life" in them. They can rub in very hot and humid weather, but not as much as traditional crocodiles. Buy them if you don't want to change your kids' flip flops every few months!
