Can't think of a rating for the suction power of a pencil sharpener. This device is 5 times larger than the one it replaces - if a hose were attached to it it could very well be a mini vacuum cleaner. The suction in this case describes the legs - they click every time the sharpener is moved. You can insert a pencil without grasping it and sharpen it to the sharpest point I've ever seen. This unit arms your lesser Ticonderoga. It leaves a trail so small it challenges the black hole singularity. Haven't used it much so far. How easy is it remove a broken piece of lead stuck in the blades? How easy is it to empty? There are no downsides, but it's big enough to have a "full" warning light to let us know. time to empty. And it would be nice if this beefy device had a wireless option that runs on batteries.
