Review on Wztepeng Catalytic Converter Protection Compatible by Genene Locson

I bought two of these because I wanted a cat tag for my two Priuses with prime shipping and didn't want to spend more than $100. This was the only cat sign I could find on Revain that met those requirements. One came with printed instructions and the other didn't, but to be honest you probably don't need them. I watched a few YouTube videos to review the night before they arrived and then proceeded with the installation. I didn't have a rivet gun so I just used the screws that came with it and then ordered a rivet gun. Once the rivet gun arrived I removed a few screws from each side and replaced them with rivets. They are well made - great quality but both rattled after installation. I put 3M 1" VHB tape on all edges of the back panel where it connects to the chassis and then bent each of them slightly so the center doesn't go in and hit the exhaust. With these small adjustments, I recommend it to everyone .No more noise, no more overheating - not a big deal (fingers crossed) Hoping it's worth the investment, just as a deterrent.... Saw a path around the cat sign once on a liana under a car I think too have, but I just hope the thieves move on instead.
