Buggy/won't turn on

My husband and I each have a desktop fan in the office. His work is wonderful, but unfortunately mine never worked. Powered on, switch flipped, but no power. Maybe something is wrong with the engine? The rear window was already closed when I used the fan. This is a good product but I recommend making sure it works as soon as you receive it. I gave three stars because when it really works it's good
