Two screws in the wall and my laundry room light comes on hands free when I open the door. No more searching and flipping every time I enter a dark laundry room. This light activates my open laundry door! Sure, it won't replace your wired overhead light, but in many cases a quick dim light is enough to get the job done. It's nice to know that I don't waste extra energy on short laundry visits. I love it! The flash of light lasts about 90 seconds. The unit is LED so four C batteries (not included) should last you a long time. This is a superior light and motion sensitive LED downlight that won't waste your batteries once the room is lit with natural or full light. I will definitely buy more. It doesn't need to be assembled as it is fully functional as a standalone device. I get exactly what I need from him. I think the price is perfect and don't consider this an expensive product for what it does. I have other plug in motion sensing night lights that I like as well, but I got really tired of reaching for the light switch in my dark laundry room and this completely and happily solved my problem. I installed it next to the electrical box in my laundry room. Perfect for dark rooms when a weak flash of light is enough. I don't like fumbling for a wall switch. I'm thinking of a TV room, some sort of closet, an attic entrance, dark stairwells, and a garage. Since it is also light sensitive, it will not activate (waste) battery power in a lighted room. This little device is well built, easy to install and does exactly what it says on the tin. It's funny how something so simple can have such a powerful positive impact on daily activities.
