I was super excited to go on a beach vacation with these shoes. I had seen some reviews state that the holes in the bottom for drainage were not punched open, but there were enough positives that I took the chance. On the bottom, you can see where the openings are supposed to be, but they are NOT opened. Decided that I would keep them, and I tried to open up the holes just a bit. On the vacation, none of the water drained. It took longer for the shoes to dry out as I had to pour all the water out, but you just can't get it all.I'm still giving it 4 stars because they are going to last me a long time. I was able to walk in them for hours without pain. I will spend more time trying to open the drainage holes in the bottom
