According to the description, one of these should be enough to balance four 6 volt batteries in series (a 24 volt battery bank). I hooked it up as instructed and one of the batteries immediately shorted out. No harm, but the circuits shown will short a 24 volt battery in series. This is a security issue, so my review is to warn others. I asked the seller for advice and he told me I need to buy two more of these and connect them some other way*. The reviews for this product are mostly 5-star, but I cannot comment on its specific application. Other items from the seller also appear to be problematic. Language and tuition issues from a likely well-intentioned provider. I can buy two other items or return one, I don't know yet. The product itself may be good but the instructions and description are wrong. I hope the seller will fix it.
