Excellent battery balancing solution

After purchasing four 12V deep cycle gel batteries for my 24V solar system, I found that the batteries charged and discharged at different rates. Decided to try this device and it really works. The batteries are now balanced and working optimally. A great low cost solution and yes you only need one battery for four 24V series/parallel batteries.

Actually works very well!

I have 4 of these SLA/AGM 100Ah 12V batteries to drive. Although the batteries are paired for a 24v system I have 1 set of wires to each 12v battery. All batteries are always within 1/10 of 1 volt. I have yet to unbalance her. I stressed the system heavily over the weekend to see how the discharge and recovery would handle a significant stress. Some received a few tenths of 1 volt but were rebalanced within 2 hours. That's the coolest thing about the SLA/AGM balance. I used to disassemble my…

Needs work on jump starters, chargers and portable power supplies

UPDATE: seems to show the imbalance correctly when adding a charger to one battery versus another. It doesn't really seem to be doing the balancing work though, I left the charger on one battery overnight and the other battery was still badly discharged in the morning. Maybe I'm just bad? It's an act of belief that this will work - they should add dual color LEDs so you can watch the current. The 2 battery version has it and it works, so -1 for that. I charge myself with 12V so it only helps…

Amazing device! A must for long battery life!

So almost a year ago I ordered one of these from another seller and it didn't work. Did you think they were probably fake or just didn't work very well, or was it noticeable at all? Well I never stopped thinking about how badly I wanted my 16 (1S2P) golf car battery array to be balanced because the voltages were everywhere even after several balancing cycles. Then I saw one of them again and decided to just try again. Spring. It works amazingly well! I have 2 hooked up now after digging through

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Low repairability

UPDATED: I have noticed that one of my batteries is consistently unbalanced, it seems to be off by about 0.4v without a balancer. Fortunately, the balancer now keeps them at a maximum of 0.1. Both batteries are the same, but one is a slightly newer design than the other and it could be (an old parasitic BMS design). In any case, I am satisfied with the balancer and have bought a second one to supplement it with other battery series. on the plus, white in the middle, black on the minus, it…

The seller tried to solve the problem but it is not as advertised.

According to the description, one of these should be enough to balance four 6 volt batteries in series (a 24 volt battery bank). I hooked it up as instructed and one of the batteries immediately shorted out. No harm, but the circuits shown will short a 24 volt battery in series. This is a security issue, so my review is to warn others. I asked the seller for advice and he told me I need to buy two more of these and connect them some other way*. The reviews for this product are mostly 5-star…

Happy I will buy a 3rd 1 for 3rd bank

It has a tier as someone mentioned so first found one to be defective so no lights or what else . only consumes extra energy, so My Little Whataburger Suck in Kill is the best way to make sure everything runs smoothly. You can just walk into the room and see how the batteries are behaving. Everyone's complaining about China, and here we vote for Biden, who opens the borders to illegal immigrants and has been shooting every day for a month after taking office! I had no problems with my 2…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

An elegant solution to battery sequencing problems. If you are charging sealed lead-acid batteries in series, this product is a must. Problem: When batteries are connected in series (in my case it is a 48-volt Ewheels ew-36 scooter with four batteries), the battery life is reduced. With sequential charging, it is not possible to charge each battery in the same way. As a result, some batteries in the series connection will not be fully charged and other batteries will be overcharged. The more…
