I have thought about getting a hammock for years, but never did. Oh my. Why did I wait? This one is bliss! It was super easy to assemble. The hammock itself is easy to remove if you want to bring it inside. It's comfortable and sturdy and I love the fabric colors - the stripe pattern I chose reminds me of the ocean. ALSO - I read a review from someone who said this hammock doesn't swing. I have no idea what she was talking about. It will be still if you want it to or it will gently rock if you like. Like any swing or hammock, you need to extend a tiny bit of effort to get it to move. Sometimes I sit in it like a chair with a least one toe on the ground to push. I can dangle leg or push against a nearby object when lying down end to end as well. Another little trick I like it to tie a rope to a nearby porch post and I can pull on it ever so slightly to rock myself. I spend time in it every day. It's become a form of meditation.
