Originally bought for a packing supplies organizer but now it holds my ironing board and photo lights 😂. It's really solid, although it does give a little due to the weight of the bottom hook alone. I'm sure if he had been more balanced or things hadn't pushed him out the door this wouldn't have happened. I can imagine using this product for the rest of my life without having to buy it again! My house is old so there was a pretty decent gap between the door and the frame, it's not the thinnest but that's what I like about it. If you have a really narrow gap you will need to measure to make sure it will fit. Also, my door is quite thick and will fit, but with difficulty, make sure you measure it too or this product will end up in your return pile. As if it would help
