The perfect travel tripod. Lightweight, folds compactly and can carry a lot of weight. All components are of the quality I expect from Sirui. The flip latches were a key feature of this tripod for me. I often take pictures at the beach and have yet to find twistlocks that don't build up sand quickly and need to be completely disassembled for effective cleaning. However, I did not have this problem with the flip locks on this tripod. After prolonged exposure to sand, dust and dirt, this tripod needed nothing more than a quick rinse. Be aware of the height of this tripod when unfolded as it is definitely on the short side. I'm 5ft 6in, which is enough for me to use it without squatting, with my legs fully extended and the center column. However, I mostly leave the center column extended for stability reasons, so I squat down a bit. , If you are tall, this tripod may not be suitable for you. That being said, my only caveat is that it would be great if the E-10 ball head was on par with its bigger siblings. although.
