Review on 🔪 Fiskars Easy Change Ergo Control Rotary Cutter, 45mm - 197990-1001 by Carla Anderson

I needed a new rotary cutter because mine was very old and the blade wasn't holding tight. I am middle aged and not as strong as I used to be due to health issues. When I saw this (new) design, I was really interested. I was and still am a bit intimidated by the razor sharp disc cutter blades when the blade needs to be replaced. I have to admit that I cut myself more than once while changing. This system is really different and easy once you get the hang of it, or maybe it was just me having to practice and read the instructions more than once. Anyway I change blades more often now and of course cutting is much easier and I get cleaner cuts. I also like the security lock feature. It works like a fuse on a pistol. It doesn't cut unless you press the button and unlock the handle, then you have to press the handle while actively cutting. I really like this feature a lot. This will prevent accidental cuts on fingers and hands. It also easily slides over any size ruler or ruler brand. I even tried it on a cardboard template I have and it worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.
