Review on 🐠 HIRALIY Aquarium Air Pump: Ultra Silent Dual Outlet Oxygen Fish Tank Bubbler for Up to 100 Gallon Tank by Bernadette Pacheco

This is a nice little relatively quiet air pump. It has two air vents that work independently, which is a nice feature. If one diaphragm fails, you usually have time to replace the pump before the other fails and you and your fish run out of air. My Hiraliy pump lasted 9 months until one of the diaphragms failed. I call this pump a "disposable" air pump because unfortunately I have not been able to find direct replacement diaphragms online and while there are universal diaphragms online that MAY fit, my experience has been that universal diaphragms tend to fail quickly and/or or not work as efficiently as the originals. The pump has a variable displacement knob that lets you control the airflow out, but the control knob controls both vents together. Pump diaphragm life varies, but generally depends on the amount of air flowing through the pump (when using the control knob), the type of air stones used, the depth of the air stones in the tank, the use (or not) of backflow restrictors how often you clean/replace your vents etc. As stated on my Hiraliy pump, it ran at full capacity for 9 months and delivered one vent per outlet with vents located 22 inches deep in a 60 gallon tank. My next pump will be one that can be ordered with replacement diaphragms, or better yet, a complete replacement kit that (should) include replacement diaphragms, flappers, air filter, and any other necessary gaskets.
