I removed the brake (which didn't work well even after adjusting) and the footrest that was preventing my son from pushing while in the seat. Also the fenders were only removed for better looks (they now look like a Strider) and a washer had to be added to allow the rear wheel to match the frame and front wheel. A decent little bike after the mods you would expect from a bike at this price point. My son loves it and is starting to ride it. About $80 less than the famous brand. I'm happy with that.
