May 4th 2021 still under COVID quarantine - even with 2.5 year old dog! July 26, 2020 I'm still holding on. Update from April 6, 2019: Holds the same as on the first day. January 14, 2018: 8 months of tape use and it's stuck in the most used part of the house. Update September 13, 2017: Three and a half months and it lasts. This tape is so good that I'm looking for other loose rugs or other uses. Original Rating: Fixed sliding carpet issue. After years of slipping around, this piece of rug now stays in place. (Notice the frayed edges where the carpets meet. I wonder if there would have been scuffs if this carpet tape had been used 40 years ago?) Mat under the installed carpet and pressed the tape into the wood floor with my foot. Did. Light. Still working great after 2 weeks. My kitchen scissors were sharp enough to cut the ribbon. (The edges of my scissors were worn/blunt so I had to sharpen the scissors by snipping off a few strips of folded aluminum foil.) All is well. I'll report back in a few months to confirm how well it's still working.
