It is very bright when you need it and can be adjusted from there, and it is suitable for different color temperatures. We use it for our YouTube live streams every week and it gives us great coverage. It's compact - in fact I placed it directly over my computer monitors using a desktop mic stand and a 1/4" mic stand adapter, it fits perfectly. The included tripod seems a bit flimsy, but unless you're touching it with your hand, it should hold up pretty well. We already used a mic stand for our camera, so we just used that instead of a tripod. The phone holder seems to be of pretty good quality and is a ball mount. In fact I use it to hold my Canon EOS Rebel T5i which we are currently shooting a podcast with.
