Eats batteries for optics

Excellent camera, good image quality. However, I only made it a few days with a set of 8 batteries! It seems that the camera will automatically go into "battery saver mode" if the voltage drops by a small amount, cutting a 15-second video down to just a few seconds. Every set of batteries I took out of the camera while zooming out the video was tested on multiple battery testers. All batteries were tested in the "Good" range. I tested "new" batteries and let them run until the video got smaller. When testing these "new" batteries, there was only a small drop in voltage. In other words, any batteries that would die in the camera worked fine in any other device they were put in (even the flashlights were good and bright!). I couldn't find any settings that would allow the camera to keep working after the batteries died. dropped just a little. So be prepared to have buckets of batteries and/or record VERY short videos. I would love this camera if the batteries last as long as they claim.
