Review on Zyxel NAS326: Personal Cloud Storage [2-Bay] with Remote Access & Media Streaming – Disks Not Included by Lisa Carter

Do not buy. Lots of Questions I'm very technical, I build computers, servers, install networks and have many other NAS devices with 2-8 drives from other manufacturers. I have a few hard drives and thought I'd give this unit a try. I got it today, plugged it in and I always update the firmware of anything I buy before I use it, so it said there was a new firmware, so I did the update, then the device homepage disappeared, everyone Applications disappeared, you can see your hard drives on your network but none of the fancy items they came with it. Removed all apps, password back to 1234. Changed admin password several times, still back to 1234. Updated firmware, lost all apps and basically became a hard drive reader. In my opinion this device is not trustworthy, none of my other NAS devices have ever given me any of these issues. Send it back. I do not recommend buying.
