I've tried several plant-based protein powders (usually vegan) and almost all of them are incredibly chalky and have an unpleasant aftertaste no matter what. what do I add to the smoothie (frozen strawberries, bananas, etc.). However, PLNT protein powder is a glaring exception, this company did a lot of things right. No soy, wheat or gluten. Stevia sweetener. It tastes mild, doesn't swell, mixes easily, and tastes pretty good - no bitter aftertaste, no off-flavors, etc. Fairly good amino acid profile. My only complaint is that it also adds maltodextrin and silicon dioxide. I still prefer high quality whey protein, but PLNT is a good compromise, especially when I'm sick and trying to avoid dairy. 4.5 stars from me - 5 if they exclude the 2 supplements I mentioned.
