Used since February 2017 (1.5 years without light) 2 stars because it can be repaired. nothing more because I shouldn't have done those things so early. First, as others have reported, the thermocouple fails very quickly. This makes it impossible to start a fire and keep it burning. I'm trying to replace this one on mine. The time it takes for a thermocouple to determine that a fire is lit is absurd, it shouldn't take minutes to heat up. 2nd big problem I found. The threaded tank connection is leaking. Regular inspections mean that more spare parts are needed. There are also some minor design issues. The magnet holding the propane tank door closed is weak. The wind ripped my door off a few times and then finally ripped it off. I welded it back on and added a new locking mechanism. You may not live in high winds, so the previous one may not be an issue. If you are using a table, a light breeze of just 1 or 2 miles per hour will make that table a less than satisfying experience. I'm looking for ways to improve efficiency/efficiency in light winds.
