Look at the illustration before you collect it!

Easy assembly. An arm-length sleeve with a drawstring at the end saves lives. I keep flies in one of these, and with a couple dozen flies buzzing in it, you lose a few every time you unzip to slide in or out a feeding tray or egg laying platform. Small enough to fit in the fridge or freezer. to temporarily immobilize the flies or permanently euthanize them for harvest. The only person who said he had to shorten the pipes is building them wrong! I made the same mistake the first time. I figured the frame would have to go into the mesh to support it. The assembled frame obviously won't fit the unbuttoned hole, so you need to assemble the frame like a ship in a bottle inside the mesh. It's not too difficult, but like I said, the tubes are too long. I cut about 1 inch off each tube and was able to assemble it inside the mesh and I ended up with a pretty good working cage. BUT THIS IS ALL WRONG! Each seam of the net has a long, curved tab that ends in a sleeve. Put tubes in these pods, connect them at the corners, and you'll easily build a better cage.

Pros
  • Large zipped door with double zips - never interrupt the dolls on top of the cage. Large zip opening for easily feeding butterflies and then releasing them into the wild. Butterflies often land on small hands and faces before flying away.
Cons
  • Nothing here
