I can't remember coming across this gem but it's so much better than a traditional embroidery hoop! They are easy to put together, your work simply clips into the frame and although the instructions say not to leave the fabric in the frame when not in use I have not had any issues with fabric puckering etc. Another tip for cross stitch and embroiderers is to get frames are two different sizes and you can do custom sizes. I'm working on a rectangular piece of cross stitch, connecting 6" and 11" to form a rectangular frame. If the fabric in the frame loses its "tension", simply twist the clamps back and you'll put the tension back right where you need it.
