    Recommended but use with caution on dark fabrics

    Works well, better tension than embroidery frames and more convenient to use. Be careful if you use it on dark fabric though - I've used it on black Aida and found it leaves white marks on the fabric. I hope they come away later. I switched to trench/well stitching so the flexible "snap" piece tears to the back of my piece and not the front, which helps if the white marks don't come loose.

    The size is deceptive!

    It's not 6x6 where the picture fits! Thing, along the outside it's 6 x 6. and the inside measurements are actually 4 x 4. So it would be great for a 4 x 4 design, but if it's bigger you'll need to buy a larger size. Looks high quality, easy to assemble. But one star because of the misleading nature of the item and the way it is described in the specifications.

    Great quality, easy to use

    I bought one of these frames at my local craft store but it was a different brand. I couldn't figure out why I can't train my stuff. As it turned out, terrible quality. The quality of what I bought here is leaps and bounds higher than what I bought in the store. It holds the fabric tight and the plastic parts are very strong! I'm an old school wooden hoop enthusiast and didn't think I'd prefer a folding frame. However, I like this one a lot! I highly recommend this brand!

    It's so bulky that you have very little room to work with a 6x6 wheel arrangement.

    I like to cross with a 5-6 inch hoop because anything much larger starts hurting my hand when I hold it but when I received this and wrapped the fabric because of the diameter of the pipe is so big you're the actual work area is quite small. Had to buy an 8 inch and 11 inch add on to make this doable. That being said, I enjoy working with the 6x8 inch space I have now. It's definitely a lot easier to keep the fabric taut than with a hoop. Good buy. I only recommend a larger size.

    Get one now - an essential tool for embroiderers

    I can't remember coming across this gem but it's so much better than a traditional embroidery hoop! They are easy to put together, your work simply clips into the frame and although the instructions say not to leave the fabric in the frame when not in use I have not had any issues with fabric puckering etc. Another tip for cross stitch and embroiderers is to get frames are two different sizes and you can do custom sizes. I'm working on a rectangular piece of cross stitch, connecting 6" and 11"…
