Beautiful Bread Knife with 8 " SS Full Tang Blade and Pakka Wood Handle Gift Wood Box

I love a nice looking sharp knife and that's for sure. This is a very attractive serrated bread knife that comes in a wooden (!) presentation box. (Image 1). The knife box contains a small microfiber cloth, as well as a guarantee card and information. (Figure 2). This is a full shank design that adds strength to a thin knife (Photo 3 above). The steel is a high-carbon German grade 1.4116 stainless steel, which has excellent edge retention as well as hardness and corrosion resistance. This is great because resharpening a serrated knife is beyond my skills and requires special equipment. The knife is VERY sharp. This 8" deep serrated blade has a comfortable and beautiful 5" Pakkawood handle that is curved for an ergonomic grip. (Figure 5). The overall length of the knife is approximately 13 inches. The blade itself has a chiselled, polished finish, mainly for aesthetic reasons, as the notches used to release the vacuum when slicing bread do not interfere with the knife's function. If it were used to slice fruit, veg, or cheese it would be a different story, but like a serrated bread knife, it's designed to cut through cracked hard crusts, not bananas! I liked the way it worked and it looks very nice on my knife strip. Easy to hold and use, it's perfect for storing my collection of kitchen knives. The box is good if you decide to store the knife in it. I highly recommend this bread knife from Sunnecko Store. This is a well made and very nice gift bread knife.
