Review on Esco 92040 Ton Bladder Jack by Homer Reed

The quality of this type is excellent. Although the description says the lift height is 17 inches (with adapter). He lifts 17 inches unloaded. But at 150 psi with a 30 gallon supercharger I could only lift a 12 inch Nissan Frontier with an adapter and a 14 inch Chevrolet Impala with an adapter. He doesn't seem to lift that high with a load. And the heavier the load, the smaller the increase. This guy is great if you just pull the tire it will lift the tire about 1/2" to 1" off the ground. But other than that, stick with a good hydraulic jack. I guess there's a reason these contraptions have been around since the 70's, but they're not overly popular. Because they don't work very well in the real world. UPDATE: I bought the model on ebay for less than $100. That works great.
