Review on Bell Spark MIPS Cycling Helmet by Leo Govindan

Looks like a sleek helmet at first glance and I like the matte gray metallic; However, I already have a larger than average head and this helmet reminded me of the SNL cone head parodies, it doesn't feel big but it looks big. The padding is much thicker than the little brother Nomad and has more padding on the inside. The chin strap seems to be too long, but it's not an advantage. They adjust under the ears, which is nice as other companies go for fixation, one side fits best. The visor is almost non-functional as it is mounted very high on the helmet, it doesn't even look right when you look in the mirror. I'm more concerned with functionality than looks, but the larger than average looks and high visor don't inspire confidence. The comfort and adjustability are top notch, but the functionality of the visor and the big optics weren't enough.
