Couplers / adapters. Threads seem fine to me.
Some people said the threads seemed funny? Mine fit my 3/8 npt threaded air manifold block and 1/4 npt air couplers perfectly and do not leak with one wrap of Teflon tape. These seem like completely adequate couplers, I'd buy these again if needed.
