So I've been working for a month now and it's working great. I use it for a 55 gallon hermit crab tank. I can keep the humidity around 60% with the heat lamp on (for the winter) at 70-75°F. I cover the top of the tank screen (aluminum foil around the lamp) with a blanket and regularly maintain humidity specifications throughout. I refill it about every 2-2.5 days which is amazing compared to some foggers. Tidbit: It has a green light that turns red when empty, a great feature. When I refilled it for the first time, I noticed limescale build-up from the tap water. . Haven't done it yet, but will be switching to distilled water soon. Putting the water tank back onto the "machine" can be a little tricky, but the light doesn't turn green until it lights up properly. The suction cups came separate from the hose and you cannot squeeze them without breaking the hose. Since the "corrugated pipe" stays in place it doesn't really bother me, although in a household with children/aquarium with a critter that can knock it over I do see it as a problem. my wooden floor (on which it stands). Until now it was completely unnecessary, like not a single dropper! And yes, the machine is on the floor and the pipe is nice and long so it runs up the stand, down the sides of the tank and halfway down the inside of the tank. The length of the pipe is also extra! I don't want him at the bottom of the tank because the critters will try to escape. Hermit Crab People: I bent it halfway into the corner of my aquarium and there's nothing to climb next to it. They didn't even come close. I knew they climbed the corner seal though, so we'll see!
