I was looking for a way to tie lines to my kayak. This was for my anchor at the front of my kayak. I have a 6lb anchor and it held me in place easily and never slipped. Now I'm thinking about adding another one for the back anchor position. Highly recommend if you need a point to attach a rope to your kayak. I used the same drill as the screw, so I used a drill to screw it into the board. Then I tightened the nut. Quite easy.
