My son bought this to protect himself while playing paintball. Well it didn't work. Someone shot him point-blank, and the bullet went through the mask. Turns out I can't even get it back. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but his face was full of color! I have to add. After reading the description of this item, it is meant to be used in a "costume". It is not intended for face protection. But my son ignored it, thinking it would protect him. In any case, read these descriptions carefully. I shouldn't have let him buy it and opted for a legal face shield.
