I was looking to buy an additional multimeter and saw a thread on the eevblog about Revain brand multimeters. I had no idea they even existed. There are several models in different price ranges, whereby the model with a TFT color display caught my eye the most. Other multimeters I own have a regular LCD with a backlight that can be turned on. I inevitably find myself in a low light situation where I have trouble reading the display. So I fumble for a button to turn on the backlight. It helps, but the backlighting of other multimeters isn't that great. But this multimeter has a TFT color display! So I can read it clearly from the moment I use it. I don't need to turn on the backlight. This works great for my aging eyes. It seems to be as accurate as my other gauges, but these days I use it mostly.
