Plane Sights pitot tube cap is bright and long enough to be noticed during pre-flight. I use it on a Diamond DA-40 which is pitot shaped with a blade. The key to using this pitot sheath is slipping it over the blade, then gently tugging on the bungee loop, and finally securing the velcro strap around the top. The lid is absolutely secure at this point. The streamer shines brightly, especially at night when there is a minimum of light. It is important to keep the pitot tube closed when the aircraft is not in flight to prevent insects and debris from clogging the opening. This one works great. Always make your checklist!
