Easy to assemble. you are doing great work There are no setup instructions, so here's HOW.

To be honest these are the ones I returned. I needed a 12.0" chrome display for my 2009 VTX1300C which they shipped to me immediately free of charge no hassle and gave me a label for FedEx return no problem. Now for what I REALLY got. You look good. It is very easy to install the VTX without a lift, which surprised me. It took about 10 minutes for each side. Then came the difficult part. To adjust. The manual does NOT contain any download suggestions. IMPORTANT: You must perform a 3/4 inch sag test. You take a measuring ruler/tape measure and with the bike held upright but no load (even in bags) measure the distance from the ground to the center of the rear wheel axle. Then sit down and measure again (this requires two people). You tune the shocks until you only get 3/4 inch of compression (sag) in the shocks for the weight the bike will be standing on. It would be nice if they bothered to include it in the instructions in plain English so you don't have to call them to find out how. They will NOT tell you where to install the shocks, only how to install them. The choice is ultimately yours. The dampers are set to minimum at the factory. I have a lot of gear and my wife occasionally jumps to 2UP unexpectedly, so I bumped it up a level below the max. Rides pretty rough alone but works great with the two of us and heavy luggage.
