ok first suitable for suspension

These shocks were initially ok, after two years and 5000 miles they lost most of the damping and one side lost spring tension, I can turn the adjuster from high to low by hand . I have a mission to replace without switching to expensive Olins.

Pros
  • for motorcycles and power sports
Cons
  • all ok

New legs for my HOG.

Recently I burned out the factory air shock absorber, oil started to flow out. Read good reviews that these 412s are a good factory replacement. I'm happy to report that they feel better than the OEM air shocks my 2002 Ultra came with. New legs for my HOG thanks to progressive suspension. DRIVE MORE!

It's a new Moto

Install these shock absorbers in mi Iron XL883N Modelo 2017 yes es otra moto.!

Installing the CX500 C in Shocks

These shocks are a great fit for the 80's CX500 Custom I'm working on. Waaaaah better than stock and not too expensive for good shock absorbers. There are cheaper ones out there, but they're so cheap, and why would you use $1,000 shocks on a $1,500 bike? In any case, they are about 2.5 cm larger than the original, but allow for more/correct flex. They also align the bike so that the rake/trail changes a bit. Not a big deal on a bike like this, but if you're worried. . You will also need to…

Great for my needs for chassis

Installation was pretty easy. Remove and reinstall the old kit. I didn't have a bike jack, so I used a scissor jack from my car and a 2x6 stack to raise the bike and use it as a center stand while I worked. The stock springs on my 2018 Iron 1200 were 11 inches, so I had to raise the bike up a bit to make room for this 13.5. After this change in strut length, I had to readjust the rear axle a bit to compensate for the slack in my belt. I love the look these shocks gave the bike. I think the…

To be honest these are the ones I returned. I needed a 12.0" chrome display for my 2009 VTX1300C which they shipped to me immediately free of charge no hassle and gave me a label for FedEx return no problem. Now for what I REALLY got. You look good. It is very easy to install the VTX without a lift, which surprised me. It took about 10 minutes for each side. Then came the difficult part. To adjust. The manual does NOT contain any download suggestions. IMPORTANT: You must perform a 3/4 inch sag…
