Review on OEMTOOLS 25400 Filter Wrench Flutes by John Galbraith

When I bought this there were some conflicting reviews as to whether this item would fit the FL-500s filter fits I hope I can clarify this and rule out a possible explanation as to why this might be so although the sticker inside the product says it fits FL-400 and doesn't mention 500 it does 500. Not sure if that's a typo or if they missed 500, but it fits. Still, I learned this the hard way. When I removed the factory oil filter from my 2019 F150, the filter that changed when I bought it was in my truck, not a 500. It's another filter labeled FoMoCo but without the filter number. It has a different groove pattern and this filter doesn't fit in this case. on it because the manual says to use it and they tried To remove the factor filter with this cap it would not work and you would think it would not fit the 500 when in fact it would fit the 500 and simply will not fit the factory filter.
