Review on DeckLink Mini Recorder by Blackmagic Design (BDLKMINIREC) by Mike Hernandez

Dude, that's so cool! I use it with my Mac Pro 2019 and it's amazing. I'm using an HDMI input and you need to install the existing software to select the correct port. Otherwise it's pretty easy. I usually record in QuickTime. I tried to provide a recorder there and it's terrible, I can't even hear the sound during the recording. Then I tried OBS and these files took a long time to render in Final Cut and the audio drifted over time. I had no problems with QuickTime. In addition, a few seconds were missing from the recorded video from time to time. Haven't figured that out yet. Oh, and every once in a while when I need to capture a clip and haven't captured anything for a while, the computer freezes, then reboots and after that capture works. So I'm guessing the driver needs to be updated or something.
