Our daughter loves it!
My 6 month old loves anything with a face. We pinned it to the edge of her bed and she's smiling and mumbling about it. It creates enough vibration, it's almost like her swing set, which she loved but has outgrown. When connected to the network, the airflow is quite strong. I haven't tried it with batteries, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than when plugged into the mains, since the current is then lower.
