I bought a goTele phone for an Alzheimer's patient who lives in a rural area with limited cell service. Pros: Performance tested by wearing to a group leader in my herd of goats. No signal problems in hilly terrain with dense trees over a quarter mile away. Accuracy confirmed by herd tracking. The bad side: Accuracy is quite good, but not perfect. The stationary "home" device sometimes seems to wander across the yard on the windowsill. The field unit seemed to erroneously stray from the fence at times, but this "clutter" was close enough that it didn't discourage me. don't install it properly. I've seen reviewers complain that the geofence alarm is silent and therefore useless, but I've received both sound and lock screen pop-ups after tweaking notification settings. Even if the app is "closed" and running in the background. (Samsung) All app configurations are lost when I restart my phone, which is often necessary due to poor cell service. Again, I'm not sure if this could be my fault. Longevity is yet to be seen, but so far I'm really liking it.
