All devices must be in range

I bought this device to make my husband feel better about where I am traveling while he is at home. This is not how this product works. All devices must be within a 1-2 mile radius to function. I can't think of a case where I would ever need that. i give them back

Good Offline GPS Tracker

This GPS tracker is waterproof and supports both online and offline GPS trackers. For offline map, you just need to download the app on your phone first. Then use the app to download the offline map. I can use the app to create a team of up to 30 people. If I take it to Carter Lake National Park (no 4G coverage at all) I can use it to find another member on my phone (which also has a GPS tracker). When I press the SOS button, all the team members' phones start alerting. I can also send a…

Disappointed with GPS, finders and accessories

I just got my trackers and can't get most of the features to work. I am using Android 8.0.0. On both devices the hotel is blue but the app says "GPS not found" when you select "Start" and when you select "Location" it says "Waiting for local". When you press SOS on the device, the indicator flashes, but nothing else happens. I can't download maps, but that's probably because the location isn't working. The only function I can work with is sending text messages, but the app needs to be opened…

Easy to set up. Drives great.

I love this GPS tracker! I've been looking for him for a long time because I often babysit my dad's dog and he's always afraid I'll lose him, especially since I sometimes let him off the leash in the park. Many other trackers have some sort of monthly fee, so I went with this one. It works amazing. I asked my dad to download the app and sign in so he could always see where Tycho was. The battery lasts a long time. I left it on all day with no problems. It was difficult at first to understand…

Pretty cool but with some problems

Great concept and I couldn't find another company doing it. They work pretty well so far, but I have a few complaints: 1. I have to fix them every time I turn them on2. I have to create a new group every time3. You cannot connect two devices to one phone. From what I understand they are designed for tourists to use with their phones, but they also market them for tracking your kids. What if I have more than one child? I want to see all my kids on my phone.4. Sometimes the pairing doesn't work…

goTele review after hiking

I just got back from a hike in the mountains where there was no cellphone signal and goTeleb worked great! The messaging function worked exactly as described and the GPS provided accurate location data. The goTele team has set itself the task of revolutionizing the market with its product. I had some initial questions and concerns but the goTele team responded within 24 hours and all issues were resolved. I have a Moto Z Force with an extra battery, but since there was no cellular connection…

Great concept, poor execution

Picked up two of these on a recent trip with friends to the Canadian Rockies. We were walking on a rather poorly marked trail and wanted to use the uploaded topographic map to check we were on the right track. When we launched the app and GoTele it couldn't get a GPS location so it was completely useless for the moment. He worked better in the city, but not when he was needed. The app itself is very clunky. Maps, which can be incredibly large, can only be downloaded when the app is open. So if…

Useful for hikers: GPS, finders and accessories

I got this because we go hiking a few times a year and my boys love to explore but my knees hurt and I get tired easily . They're getting close to the age (they're 9 year old twins) where they can explore a bit on their own, but that makes me nervous. We used walkie-talkies, but when I ask them where they are, they say something like "right by the big tree!". *sigh* This will pinpoint exactly where they are so I can track them, giving me peace of mind. I know it works because my sister, an avid

The good, the bad, and the ugly

I bought a goTele phone for an Alzheimer's patient who lives in a rural area with limited cell service. Pros: Performance tested by wearing to a group leader in my herd of goats. No signal problems in hilly terrain with dense trees over a quarter mile away. Accuracy confirmed by herd tracking. The bad side: Accuracy is quite good, but not perfect. The stationary "home" device sometimes seems to wander across the yard on the windowsill. The field unit seemed to erroneously stray from the fence…

The devices themselves are good, but the app is absolutely gross.

The trackers themselves are very accurate and my dog (boxer mix) had no problem leaving one on the collar. Most of the advertised features work, but there are 3 main problems: 1. Geofencing can only be created in circles around you and is not configurable. This means you cannot design the boundaries of your property. 2. When the person (or dog in my case) you are tracking leaves the geofence, a silent text will appear on your screen letting you know and you need to open the app on screen to get
