The trackers themselves are very accurate and my dog (boxer mix) had no problem leaving one on the collar. Most of the advertised features work, but there are 3 main problems: 1. Geofencing can only be created in circles around you and is not configurable. This means you cannot design the boundaries of your property. 2. When the person (or dog in my case) you are tracking leaves the geofence, a silent text will appear on your screen letting you know and you need to open the app on screen to get notifications. No audible alerts or vibrations. That means the geofence alarm is utterly useless unless you're constantly checking the app on your phone. 3. The app also gives you the option to save followed routes, but only routes set by YOU (the tracker). It does NOT store routes taken by the device you are tracking. In summary, geofencing cannot adequately cover my 32-acre rectangular property without going into my neighbor's property. It won't alert me that my dog doesn't have a geofence unless I'm always checking the app (which negates this). the whole purpose of having alerts) and it will save the trails I lay (which I don't care) but not my dog's trails. I can only hope that Gotele fixes these bugs at some point, but until then I don't need this item.
