I was concerned that the foil would darken the room but it still seems bright and sunny as always. I used this product to ensure no one can see into the master bathroom. The glass is frosted but I could still see shadows both outside and inside. Now the bathroom looks completely private, but this is almost secondary compared to the effect of the facility. This design is absolutely gorgeous. Even though the colors in the room are lighter than everything else, it still pairs perfectly with neutral beige tile, tan floors, and honey oak cabinets. It's a light cream, rich gold and golden brown with a peacock blue accent. Every time I enter a room I am mesmerized by the windows. (There are two above the large corner bath, one on each wall which is very dramatic.) I love stained glass and it's just as pretty and of course cheaper! Installation was challenging but worth it. Air bubbles are still present, but they are imperceptible during the day. At night the bubbles are a bit more obvious, but that doesn't bother me. I highly recommend this product.
