How to remove the key to use the thumb lock
This mechanism has a very good price for what you get. The handle looks nice. I hired a carpenter to hang this on my door because my door is new. He didn't say it was difficult to install. After he left I couldn't lock the door on the dial without leaving the key in the lock. A carpenter came over, removed the handle from the latch side, and rotated the flat pin so it was sideways instead of up and down. He put it back in and it's working now. Simple solution.
