This is one of the coolest tech toys/gadgets I've ever seen! I heard about it during the Consumer Electronics Show, so I was keen to try it myself. I'm not sure who prefers to use color to make music - the kids or me! I really didn't think you could actually get the rings to work in anything other than a playground, but we've tried them on just about everything around the house and it's always worked. The app is also very easy to use and my kids love creating different song/beat mixes. It was fun watching them try new things while experimenting with sounds and colors. They often pull out the rings and let their friends try, and it's always a success. If you're looking for a fun toy (for yourself and/or the kids) I'd recommend trying the Specdrums rings - we had a blast with them!
