There are less expensive inks available for Canon printers that work well in most cases, but only this ink is used for best results on Canon inkjet paper. As a professional photographer, I cannot risk that the photo I deliver to the client does not match Canon's description. A photo job I am responsible for requires 5 portrait photographers using 5 Canon printers running 2 hours at a time to print up to 500 4x6 portrait format prints using these ink cartridges. For 4 years we have been doing this job with almost no problems with cartridges and printers.
