Review on ๐Ÿ“ท eufy Security Floodlight Cam with 1080p Resolution, 2-Way Audio, No Monthly Fees, 2500-Lumen Brightness, Weatherproof Design - Requires Existing Outdoor Wiring and Weatherproof Junction Box by Keith Howe

Revainrating 4 out of 5

LEDs are bright, video is ok but there are some caveats as it's only in beta, acceptable

Overall this is a great device. I installed it yesterday, so things may change over time. PROS1. Picture quality is good, decent wide viewing angles2. Installation was fairly quick and comes with a pre-installed configuration plug (do not remove until installation is complete)3. Installation was very easy, there was even a hook to hold the device while you plug it in.4. Integrates with the Eufy Security app along with other Eufy5 products. Motion detection is excellent, the light turns on quickly. The LEDs are nice and bright, larger than the previous LEDs I've had6. Sturdy construction, nice box, everything you need is included except a screwdriver7. Does not have to be printed. Comes with nice hard foam rubber attached to waterproof the CONS1 control box. Mobile data must be deactivated immediately during installation. This is not intuitive. I had to look up exactly what to do but you couldn't proceed no matter what until you did this. (did not give any information on how) 2. The phone could not find the Wi-Fi name, although the device reported that it was in discovery mode, I had to press the sync button again, after that everything worked (the same picture was still displayed as and in discovery mode)3. Wi-Fi range is very short (Eufy claims it's low-frequency Wi-Fi). Luckily there was a lighthouse nearby. You may need to add an extension cord to get there.4. The recording memory is an internal MMC card of only 4GB, which is very small considering today's MMC/SD5 sizes. Currently NOT connecting to Eufy Security's home base. Eufy says it should be available in a few months. This increases my rating to 5 stars. Homebase uses the SD card you provided and fixes the 4GB limit issue. Some of these shortcomings only appear during installation. For now I'm still happy with the product and will be happier if/if they add basic support. I will try to release a durability update in 6-9 months.
