The two diagonal supports are weak. Put 200-300lbs on the two bracket and these not only flexed under the weight, but also permanently bowed those supports so that when folded it did not close completely. Would not trust these brackets at 300lbs, let alone 500lbs.If you want something that’ll hold under 150lbs, fine. But, otherwise, I’d look elsewhere. Found others (outside Revain) that were rated for 800lbs and the quality of those far surpasses what these brackets offer. Also, higher price tag - but worth it now that I see the difference. No comparison.Bottom line, I am disappointed about the false advertising of the weight rating of this L-bracket. If that rating is important to you, then you will likely be disappointed with this product too.
