Does what it is supposed to do. Make sure the cigarette lighter has power when the key is off. This can be done by connecting the adapter without the 9V battery. If the red light on it comes on, the device is working. In my truck, one works all the time and the other turns on when the key is on. This means that the 9V battery will power the car devices when the key is removed. The battery cables are now clean and I don't have to completely reset my Android connected radio. It's well made and will probably outlive me!
