I was initially skeptical about ordering a non-genuine product to replace the factory unit as I have tried others and been disappointed. When the "key" is inserted into the ignition switch, it feels tight but works fine. I think the leads were so worn that I got used to the old "loose" fit. But this one is really strong and durable. Now remember that it does not fully replace a lost or broken FOB. Because it's basically a new plastic case and snap hook.
